The Bachelor in Business administration will provide students with the necessary knowledge and technical skills to understand the modern world of business, preparing them for a future of professional success. The aim is to offer students a setting for analysis, in order to be able to conceive the world and solve problems- independently of the industry, career or country they come from or where they are.
The demands of the twenty-first century require not only an understanding of the modern world, but also a strong appreciation of the duties and responsibilities implicit in a dynamic, multi-cultural world. Our teaching methodology applies theory to practice and provides our students with the opportunity to learn new technologies. It also raises awareness as to the ethical considerations inherent in a continuously changing business world – considerations which are essential for success in both business and social environments.
Degree in Audiovisual Engineering

The Degree in Audiovisual Engineering offers a solid base of knowledge which allows participating and leading projects related with Information and Communication Technologies (ICT). The syllabus combines scientific and technical knowledge so that students innovate and develop new technological solutions by learning management skills, communication, leadership abilities, team work, innovation and companies’ creation. Some courses are taught in English so that the students can have a good English level. Regarding to the scientific-technical knowledge, it’s important to differentiate the common transversal contents and other specialties (mathematics, electronics, and technology and signals procedure) with the ones that specifically belong to the degree, for example, acoustics that stands out in its different aspects (enclosures, vibrations, sound and speech), digital TV (from recording to transmission, also going through display) and general multimedia and audiovisual contents.
Degree in Computer Engineering

In Catalonia, during the last academic year, 9 universities offered studies in Computer Engineering, which proves the big demand of these professionals, but also the importance of choosing appropriately the university where you want to study and that it has the most updated and differentiated education. As an IT Engineer, you will be able to work in Internet projects (web browsers, virtual communities, content administration, etc.), leisure (videogames, online games, etc.), interactive digital television, medicine, financial entities and banking, public administration, software companies, aeronautic automotive, energetic sector, pharmaceutics sector, etc.
Degree in Electronic Systems Engineering in Communications

Electronics have a key role in the development and social progress of society. It’s the principal backup technology for communications, control and information dealing. The Degree in Electronic Systems Engineering in Communications offers the tools that have given the electronic design the prestige achieved in the present, developing the instrumentation knowledge, electro medicine and common areas of telecommunication. It also offers a wide range of professional opportunities, especially in the creation of new products and services in the electronic equipment: instruments, computers, control and communication equipment, etc., and the research in the companies’ laboratories of R+D.
Degree in Multimedia Engineering

The graduates from Multimedia Engineering are excellent technology integrators, able to decide which structures does technology have to adopt to be really efficient in its intermediary roll within the creative and communicative process. In Multimedia there are a lot of ingredients that have to be taken into account, but that are traditionally isolated from their own disciplines. So Multimedia unifies them; Research and Concept, Script, Specific Public Analysis, Users’ Experience Management, Design, Creativity, Technology, Digital Content and Management. This qualification has its own technology base and its professional competences clearly defined. All of them help to conceptualize and develop virtual environments of interaction without limits, either in terms of communication or in a particular application field. This way, thanks to the transversal characteristics of Multimedia and to its strategic position, the graduates may apply their knowledge in any kind of sector: medic, for handicapped people, sportive, cultural, educative, risk preventing, historical memory gathering, artistic, entertainment or strategic consultancy among others. Some examples of leading projects are: the different applications used to virtually reconstruct a building, surgical simulator based on Virtual Reality and Image Process technologies, a system of mp3 audioguides adaptable to any mobile or portable device, a web manager that contributes to the digital literacy or E-business and Interactive Marketing mechanisms that can be used to reinforce marketing campaigns. Graduates from Multimedia Engineering are perfect Project’s leaders because they know which is the “interactive material” that has to be used to design operative solutions based on different disciplines to solve complex problems.
Degree in Telecommunication Systems Engineering
